Wet Christmas in Queensland

So here we are at December 27 2010 in beautiful Queensland and I have to say I have NEVER seen so much rain, let alone over the Christmas break.  What has happened to our hot, steamy and much loved December weather?  This year we have traded our airconditioning power bills for a constantly running clothes dryer so it will be interesting to see which costs more to run when the bills arrive - Hypnobabe is banking on a substantial saving of but best not get too excited just yet.

Aside from all the rain, a fabulous Christmas has been had by all.  We have had all the family here at the Gold Coast from all over the World and the only downside is that they can't be here for longer.  The big day itself went off without a hitch and all those who didn't know each other have made firm new friends.  The little ones were thoroughly spoiled by the ever generous man in the red suit so the hypnohouse is overflowing with toys and left over food and drink - will not have to shop for a while yet.

The plans are on track for an awesome 2011 for Hypnobabes with my big boy off to school and me ramping up my working hours.  This will mean more time to see all you lovely clients but also time for a bit of business development and direction.  I'm feeling very excited about running a more regular hypnobirthing course schedule but I'm also developing group programs both for the corporate market and  weekly stress bustinf and presonal growth sessions for people here on the coast.  Watch this space for more information as the plan begins to come together and classes and venues are announced.

Well that's all from the Hypnobabe for today, here's hoping your Christmas experience was as wonderful as ours and sending you all positivity and joy for the coming year.

Christmas Clearout

It’s clearout time for the Hypnobabe.  We are getting ready for Santa’s visit (the smaller family members are already barely able to contain themselves) so it is time for all the stuff we don’t need to go to new homes.  I have been madly ebaying and Vinnieing all the outgrown toys, clothes, random stuff we don’t use and items of unknown origin found during a recent clear out of the linen cupboard (if you’re missing cooler bags or Tupperware last seen at Hypnohouse now’s your last chance to claim).  It has all brought me to realise just how much STUFF we have and how it actually increases stress levels, not to mention time wasted spent searching for stuff you actually do need.

A bargain hunter and borderline hoarder at heart, the Hypnobabe does have mild concern that Oprah will knock on the door during her visit and unleash her decluttering team, spreading carefully saved possessions across the lawn for all to ogle at.  Assuming that this doesn’t actually happen, 2011 is earmarked to be the year of simplicity at Hypnohouse.  I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to downsize stuff, probably most of my adult life I think, but this year is it!

This year I’m writing a de-stress and declutter hypnosis program and perfecting it on myself.  Designed as a spring clean for the mind, body and physical space, it will remove the stress caused by all those nagging jobs and bulging cupboards you really should do something about by retraining your mind to actually work through and reduce them.  Combining hypnosis with physical lists, it’s going to be a great stress buster which will free up lots of time spent thinking and worrying about things which don’t matter and which drag us down.  The best bit is that all that worry time can be spent on whatever YOU want, all those things you haven’t had time to enjoy for a while.  Feeling clear and decluttered already just thinking about it?  Keep you posted folks.

Ciao for now

Another fun packed week at Hypnobabes

Hypnobabes has been busy with a bumper week of new clients and hearing success stories from clients we haven't heard from in a while.  Can't wait for you all to get those results happening new ladies and congratulations to those who are doing so well.  In between sessions I've been to the AHA Christmas party, thanks to all those wonderful volunteers for making it such a lovely meal and thanks Alan for the presentation.  It is always great to catch up with a roomful of other therapists and now I'm full of enthusiasm and have a list of reading material as long as my arm!  The enthusiasm has run to some changes to the website, hopefully it is looking simpler and easier to read - and don't forget our Christmas special, I must be mad I think.  Anyway, have a wonderful week, I know I will.

Super Special package deal

Here at Hypnobabes, I've been getting lots of calls from ladies who are keen to take off those extra kilos for summer.  As most of you know, I have been seeing amazing results with weight loss clients but it does take a couple of visits to really do all the work required and make the changes permanent.  I've been finding that some people don't return for those follow ups and that isn't something I like to see as I really want all my clients to get the best from the sessions and then tell all their friends about me.

What could the answer be I hear you ask?  Well, with the thought in mind that money is tight with Christmas fast approaching, Hypnobabes has decided to offer a Super Special package deal!  I'm very excited about it and I hope you will be too.  So, until Christmas, I am offering a three session package for the total price of $180!  As the usual rate per session is $120, this represents amazing value and is a great opportunity for any of you who have been thinking about hypnotherapy but had balked at the cost to come and see me.  This offer stands for all clients who book their first appointment between now and January 1 (great Christmas present) and covers all areas of treatment, not just weight management.

What are you waiting for?  Contact me to book your appointment, spots are filling fast.

Speak to you soon.
